Region Hosting

We provide you with a fixed number of regions either standalone or connected to a grid - we use the latest releases of the OpenSimulator software allowing you have access to many of the new features developed by the OpenSim Team including; access to the hypergrid, mega regions and more.

What do we provide with each package?

  • 24/7 Live Failure Monitoring.
    We keep monitors on your region day and night. Any failure triggers a notice to our entire support department to get it fixed.
  • Daily Off-site Backups.
    We maintain a strong backup routine including daily database backups to an alternative colocation facility, in the event that the unfortunate occurs we have your regions secured.
  • Latest & Greatest OpenSim Versions.
    We use the latest releases of the OpenSimulator software to ensure high performance & comprehensive feature hosting, as well as compatibility with grids such as OSgrid.
  • Settings & Module Tweaks.
    We can tweak the configuration of any region hosted with us - if you need a particular setting or common module enabled it is not a problem, just ask us.
  • Generous Hardware Allocations.
    We would prefer to have underused capacity on our hardware than face performance issues with our customer regions.
  • Good Quality Equipment.
    We use dedicated Quad-Core Intel servers with 8GB of RAM - no cheap VPSs here.
  • Live Support.
    We provide Live Support during business days from 8AM to 5PM CST - not only that, any query sent to us out of hours is guarunteed a response within one business day (excluding holidays).
  • Low Pricing.
    Our basic hosting starts at just $34.95/mo - with quad region premium packages from $69.95/mo.

What dont we provide by default?

Many features we offer require a significant degree of additional work to setup and maintain, for this reason they are availible only as paid extras, and are not included by default with your package.

  • Content and Artwork.
    While we can provide some assistance with packages of free premade content, we do not supply any content with your order - our regions are supplied unfurnished.
  • Grid Portal Web Interfaces.
    We do not supply a web interface with your package by default (except for dedicated-class packages), they are availible however as a paid extra, please see our web interfaces section for more information.
  • Custom Development Work.
    If you have a custom configuration that represents additional work beyond the simple setup and deployment of your regions, you may require custom consulting. See our custom consulting page for more details.

What is coming soon?

  • Freeswitch Voice.
    We currently do not offer freeswitch voice services, however we plan to offer it soon as an additional extra.
